Hi all just noticed that the heater plug light no longer illuminates when the ignition is turned on - mk11 megane 1500dci 2006 - car starts ok but its not cold yet - anyone got any ideas ?

has anyone found a way to keep the radio on for more than ten minutes with the ignition off - its driving me potty as i spend a bit of time in the car doing paperwork and dont really want to keep the engine running - 15 plate Megane 15dci 110

its manual and it does normaly work even in cold weather obviously not on cold setting otherwise i cant keep the windows clear

morale here is change aux belt at the same time as the timing belt ! you have already taken the old one off anyway so no more labour costs.

I always work out my fuel consumption manually each fill up and the on board mpg reading is always wrong,it seems to say 49mpg nearly every time when the actual figure is a lot lower at 42-43-45 mpg I have never got more than 48mpg and that is on a normal mixed road/motorway type journeys.

just had the passenger side motor & loom changed on my 56 plater,renault agreed to change motor foc although car is out of warranty but they still charged £130.00 for the loom I only wish they could fix the aircon they have had ten attempts and its still u/s car mists up like hell in wet weather

I have a similar problem with my 56 plate 15dci 86,on occasions it jams in gear when pulling away from traffic lights etc , also when idleing I get a bad vibration which goes when the clutch pedal is depressed three of my work colleagues have the same cars and have identical problems.

Got same fault with my 56 15dci its been back to the dealer twice ! it works afterwards for a couple of weeks and then stops,plenty of gas pressure ,no visible signs of leaks(uv dye added at last attempt to fix) tell tale light on but to no avail. Its going in again next week for another attempt,kee...

a work colleague had the same problem with the boot opening each time he engaged reverse gear,went back to dealer about six times before it was finally fixed think it was a faulty relay or switch but it took a lot of sorting out luckily it was still under warranty.

Hi anyone out there know how to reset the service due message and switch off the orange spanner logo. had car serviced at 36000 and they forgot to reset it,cant be bothered to go back as dealer is too far away, any ideas? car is 56 plate 1500 dci 86

Dont really know what the dealer has checked alltogether but whatever they have done it hasnt made any difference
