My 55 Renault Megane is running a bit juddery. When I accelerate there is a bit of delay and a little 'jump' before it kicks in. It also vibrates a bit in low gear. I think if I were in your position I would take it to another renault dealer or ring renault uk and explain the situation to them. I can understand your frustration only too well and like you I would want the problem solved as soon as possible. I have to say, I've had the same problem and I've rung...

A little bird told me that there is a yellow tag on Megane 1.6V cars (recall ref. 4747E). This means that if your dephaser pulley fails outwith warranty, Renault should consider some kind of 'goodwill' gesture. Worth mentioning.
