In case anyone is interested....the garage have now managed to replicate the fault, however did not show up on the computer, so not sure what is causing it. Thanks AlexB, I have found a couple of threads now I have had a chance to scan properly and looks like this is not an uncommon fault, and that Renalt don't seem to get to the bottom of it! I will contact the garage tomorrow and see if they have checked the end switch on the brake pedal....I will rep...

Agreed, have just had the handbrake replaced under warranty on my '56 plate...first car I have ever owned where the handbrake has failed!

My car is currently at my local Renault garage where they are trying to replicate a problem I am having with loss of power. It is an intermittent problem that generally happens at 30/40 mph. I radomly lose power (no warning lights) and have to drop down a gear (sometimes 2) to "kick" it ba...
