Has anybody tried the ebay jobbies? Saw some on there for £18 posted, or should I go for Renault ones?

Did it by trial and error with a spare, should have done it this way to start with really.

More coil pack troubles
Had a coil pack go on me two weeks ago and had it replaced with a new Beru one. Now yesterday had the same problem i.e misfire and toxic fume warning. I checked each coil earlier via the spark plug to earthing point and all four were sparking... Any ideas chaps? Really had enough of this car now Che...

TDC Sensor
Got a price for a new TDC sensor from Renault today £25 for the sensor and £26 for the wiring loom part that you need for the new style sensor. Can these be bought cheaper elsewhere or will I have to hand over my hard earned cash to them.

Cheers for the advice, I chopped in an old fiesta for it that was faultless for two years so at the moment I am seriously considering getting rid. I dare say I'll be a bit more positive once I have it looked at though
