Hi HOPE, yes we bought the 2004. We are very happy with it. Its a hatch and has a 2.0 with 6spd. We love the styling, its a real head turner. They are very rare in Australia.

OH KJ thankyou sooo much. I cannot believe I hadn't figured that out. The guy I bought the car off said the key just should slide into the little hole in the cover and automatically open. I now realize I have to remove the cover which reveals the real keyhole.

Hi again everyone, I understand the Megane has different levels of equipment. Namely Authentique, Privlidge etc... But when I go and look at a car....how can I tell the difference between a, say, Privlidge and a well optioned Authentique
