As the weather has started to turn cold, I've been having difficulties... First thing in the morning, I will start the car and you get a noise like some sort of gear stuck and then it stalls. You start the car again and it's fine....Yes it's the 1.6 VVT and I know it's the symptoms of the dephaser.....

Re: Just how bad is the Megane?
To be absolutely honest, I wouldnt consider them any different than any other car. Every car has problems. For example, the works mercedes is notorious for wearing out tyres and the waste gate valve sticking, and yes, both have happened and it's not even a year old

Re: fuel light
mine comes on at about 50 miles, then the display goes off around 45. Wouldn't worry too much about it, I usually refill at quarter of a tank as I'm trying not to get it like this incase it's swilling the contaminants out of the tank through the engine.

because you still need to illegally modify the machine,
the games are still under copyright laws
(and they won't work anyway without being patched)

Re: Playstation One Games
ps one games were required to be patched (illegal), ps2 games also required to be patched and used to have the video clips altered in size (illegal) so you could fit in on a dvd-r. both involved a chip (illegal) or an action replay disc. i'm sure you can find psx1 games on ebay (legal)
