i got some foam strips with a sticky back to them and stuck them in the places the dashpanel cover sits, thats stopped my rattles.
Did the same with the radio display panel too as i had rattles from there.

Re: Changing rear brake discs, help please!!
I replaced my rear discs with ones from a local motor factors.
I work in the motor trade but not as a mechanic.
Pressed my old bearings out and swapped them to my new discs.
The ABS rings were tapped off gently all fitted onto the new discs fine, not had any problems

Re: CD CHANGER WIRE
That single blue wire tells the cd changer to light up when your headlights are on. It goes into the loom for the radio display in the center of the dash. I found this out when retro fitting a renault cd changer to my megane. Took it out of one megane to put into mine couldn't see where this wire we...

Re: Is my Dipped beam blub a normal H7?
It should be a H7 bulb.
What you can see from looking at the front of the headlight is the projection lense that the bulb shines through.

How do you reset the service light
Evening all!!
Does anyone know how to reset the service due message on a 2008 megane 1.5dci.
I know how to do it on the pre facelift megane ie 2004.
Just done the service on the car, but couldn't see a reset button on the dash, it was dark so might have not seen it......

Re: Standard Speakers or upgraded?
I'm looking at getting these to upgrade my standard speakers.
Just a quick question or two;
Do the pioneer speakers use the standard wiring plug, on the cars wiring loom or do you need to cut the connector off to fit them??

The sidelight bulb holder comes out by squeezing the two tabs together then pulling it out.

Re: starting problems
I also had the same fault with mine, but as Alex says just lenghtened the wire to the switch as they get knocked off by "big feet". I also found some corrogated tube and put a bit over the top of the switch, around the wires to help shield them from being knocked off. Fingers crossed no pr...

i work in the motor trade, in a dealership but not renault. On our cars we can order cv boots kits etc and even the clips seperatly, so it was a case of scrolling through the parts catalogue for one the right size!!

I've had the Valeo aero wipers on my 54 plate megane for about 8 months now, brilliant in the rain etc, no smears or noises. Only thing i noticed during the summer was bugs!!!
Their not the best with flys on the windscreen they don't shift them as good as the stanrdard style wipers.

Re: l_chapman3@sky.com
I took an in dash cd changer out of another megane so i can fit it to mine. When i took it out i also took the lead from the radio to the cd changer, however there was one blue wire that went off into the dashboard somewhere. After fitting it to my megane, it worked but wouldn't light up with the re...

Re: rear disks
Genuine rear discs for the megane are quite expensive from Renault because the come with new rear wheel bearings,
I did my rear discs & pads end of last year but bought them from a local motor factors, but they didn't come with bearings in them, so i had to press them out and back in again.
