This car has to be the worse car we have ever owned. I love the engine but the quality of the car is awful So far we have had Brakes squeak - fixed by Renault but at first told to drive in reverse fast then slam on to dislodge the dust? yeah right! Water in foot well - fixed but didnt replace carpet...

Ok now my brother has the wet cubby hole in the floor and i need to fix it as his car is just out of warranty. Our one was fixed under warranty although its going back again as its up the swanny again. So has anyone managed to fix this themselves if so what have I got to do? Any pics? Thanks C

nope when i go over a bump turning, ie in to the road where we live, over a few others every now and again

Bought it July 2005 brand new, Megane Oasis 5 door hatchback.

Was a good spec got 4 years 0% finance too.

Selling it soon as the 4 years is up¬¬

Took it to get the knock on the steering looked at but they couldnt find a knock!!!!

MY GUN WOULD HAVE RUSTED TOO!!!!

Its a bloody joke thats what it is!!

Cars been back for brakes, door buttons replaced twice, brakes eventually replaced and NOW water in the foot well.

Mr Renault can have his car back! Its a joke!!!! A new car and all this crap happens wtf is that about then!

Any ideas how water would get in to the cubby hole? felt as though it was underneath the floor lining?

Renault say that we have not affected the warranty as long as its serviced at 24k now. We are on 18k near enough.

So annoyed though

All the paper work with the car ie the service book it said 12k or 1 year hence why we tried to get it done last year when it came up with the service light. But they told us we could not get it done early and we had to wait till closer to the time ie 18k or 2 years.

Ok so here it is. Last year we had the "change oil soon" message on the car so I asked on here what it meant and you guys rightly told me service time so off to Renault we went.
