The handle plug is secured by an arm that is part of the inside mechanism... Open the door and look for a plastic grommet on the door shut nearest this handle plug.. Look into the hole and you should see a silver coloured arm.. using a screw driver push it in to lock the plug in place.. :-) Just go...
