Re: time to let it go
Was reading an ABS thread on another forum (the highly regarded FiatForum actually), and one of the resident experts made this observation "If the (ABS) light comes on when you start the car you can be pretty sure it's a sensor or the wiring leading to it. If the light comes on after you have m...

Re: Massive Oil Leak
Hi all
If anyone has fixed this problem by fitting a new thermostat housing gasket, is it OK to fit the 'silicone elastomer' one (Elring 36467) which is easily available, or should a different type be used? If a different type is preferable, then what should that be?
Thanks for the help. Stuart

If you have, then try disabling it. I seem to remember that this feature can sometimes 'get itself into a muddle', and cause pr...

Re: Everything electrical....
Hi there, I'd suggest you ask them to take a close look at the main wiring loom that feeds into the drivers door, especially the section contained in the black rubber sleeve. There could be a wire or two broken or shorted in there which might cause the symptoms (and the burning smell) you describe.

Re: radio not working in cold conditions
Radio in our Megane has the same problem. If the weather is extremely cold (as it has been recently), the radio might refuse to switch on. I've found the quickest fix is to remove and reconnect one of the battery teminals. Anyone know what the problem might be ? Would the radio be replaced under war...

Loose connector under drivers seat
Hi all, first post on this excellent forum. Keep it up. Can anyone help with this? Checking under the drivers seat of our 1.6 Megane dynamic 2006 I noticed a loose connector which is attached by two thin gauge wires to the main wiring loom under the seat. It doesn’t appear to be anything to do with ...
