Re: Fitting a Parrot CK3100 Hands Free kit
Yeh hes right its dead simple... only thing you have to remember is that with renaults there are two connectors that have to be swapped round in the wiring that comes with it to make sure that it powers down correctly (should say goodbye when ignition turns off)... only awkward bit was mounting the ...

Headlamp Bulbs
Have seen a few cars recently that have quite blue/white colour lights... fairly sure they arent HID systems as some of the cars I have seen with them would not have come with HID lights... I know philips, osram and a few other manufacturers do normal bulbs that they claim give a brighter whiter lig...

Ultimate / V-Power Diesel
Hi, Have an 08 Reg Megane GT DCi and have wondered for a while whether to bother trying V-Power Diesel or BP Ultimate Diesel... I used to put super unleaded in my 1.4 16v clio and it did give noticeable improvements to throttle response and MPG but just wondered if anyone had tried the diesel... Hea...

Re: Diesel Tuning Unit - KingQuick Technologies
that is true in theory... but if you have an accident, to the extent where you have to claim off insurance theres a good chance ur car wont run... and if it doesnt run they cannot test boost pressures etc... to see if it is mapped or not... Plus everyone I have heard of being in an accident the insu...

Re: Diesel Tuning Unit - KingQuick Technologies
Doesnt really take it away... main reason people buy diesels is cus if you do a fair few miles you will save on fuel costs as they are more economical... Get a remap or a tuning box and a lot of the time it makes it even more economical... Also, like me I wanted to reduce fuel costs but would also l...

Re: IPOD CONNECTION
The tunepoint is an optional extra... It basically sits on your glove box and allows you to connect an Ipod / usb memory stick / mini jack connector to your stereo. It does this via the port normally used for the CD mulichanger... Think you can get them fitted as an aftermarket job but not 100%... B...

Re: Diesel Tuning Unit - KingQuick Technologies
Has anyone with one fitted done over the 100 mark just to test eddies comments? Just curious... Think I have decided against a tuning box as i wanted the premier box at £250, but for £350 I can have a propper remap from rapidremap and get better results, and its still undetectable by renault, and ca...
