Hi i have just bought a new throttle body from renault does anybody know if it is just a case of bolting it on or does it have to be set up via a laptop.

Hi all here is my problem i cleaned the throttle body on my 1.4 megane and since then i had the toxic fume and service light came on. The AA came round and the fault showed that it was the Throttle Acuator Control with the code P0638 now does any body have a clue what this is and is it an easy fix. ...

Please can somebody tell me where the throttle body is located on a 1.4 as i need to give it a clean or if somebody has a piccy of it that would be great.

Thanks for the replys i suppose it could be more of a whine noise the noise hasnt got any worse but as some one mentioned it is only when taking your foot off the gas between 3000 / 3400 that you get the noise.
