Just for info, the wheels are now fitted and are perfect. Could even push slightly further towards the outside if you wanted, by increasing wither the width or positive offsett.
Now for the lowering springs....

Hopefully the 1.9 isn't too much heavier in the front for spring rates to be an issue.

Thanks Gav/IainMW Had read the other post previously but not followed the link to the renault UK site, which specifies speed/time for the regeneration.
