Afraid i still have the problem, i have had just about everything changed on the engine i.e temperature sensors e.t.c but still no luck. Am having the throttle body cleaned on Thursday, so will let you know if that fixes it.

Went to Renault Today to order these, got the pins from the part number but they could not recognise the below on any of the parts systems or the renault main parts listings.

77 03 072 393 N/STOCK RIVET METAL @ £1.24

Anybody know of a different part number for these?

Does this pipe look correct, and how to request?

Can anybody supply instructions on how to clean the EGR valve with pictures if possible as i am not particulally mechanically minded and find it easier with pictures, i will be cleaning it on a 2003 1.6 if this makes a difference. Does anybody also know how easy it is to replace a temperature sensor...

are you having a new one designed or selling an old one?

Do you know of anyone who does a modification for an exhaust like the 225, i.e new bumper and centre exit exhaust?

Has anybody fitted an aftermarket exhaust to a 1.6 Megane, i am struggling to find any, where can you get them from. Pics would be great

Blanking panel for old cd changer position

I am about to change my stereo and will have to remove the 6 cd in dash cd player, i was wonderin if anybody knows the part number for the storage slot that replaces it is and where i can get one from?

Ouch. have got it booked in to have the renault dealership take a look at it on Friday, so will keep you all updated with what they find, hopefully everything does not need changing.

Looks like i need to request a cambet change, new dephaser pulley, new water pump and an engine management software update.
Any idea how much i am likely to be looking at for the above?

Just wondered if i book my car in for a cambelt change which is due by September, will the dephaser pulley be replaced as part of the cambelt change or is this a seperate job?

Have now replaced the coil packs with Beru ones as suggested (£163 later), but am still having starting problems. Anybody got any ideas on how i can finally solve this problem as it is costing me a fortune

Had my TDC sensor changed today at Renault. They fitted a new style sensor with a blue plug and a new wiring loom (apparently fixes any degrading problems). However low and behold as soon as i went to pick the car up and paid £70.50 for the labour. Got into the car and it played up with starting aga...
