It's going back in tomorrow. IMHO the clutch seems to have air in it, and needs bleeding. Grrr.

Just bought the haynes, not sure where this is "page 37A-22" but on 6-4 of the Haynes it explains about the bleed nipple. I was told by the garage that my vehicle doesn't have a bleed nipple and it is a self bleeding system.

Does anyone know if this is true?

Well the symptoms only take place once the vehicle has been stood (e.g. left overnight). After you've initially pumped the clutch a few times before you set off it's fine, and if the car is used consistently throughout the day then it remains fine, but then if it is left for say over a 4 hour period...
