Re: Stereo installation and stalk adapter

I have just installed a new head unit into my scenic and i needed 3 things, 2 sets of wires for the stalk controls and a facia adaptor. The leads cost £74.99 and £7.99. The stalk controlls work but the display does not. All it does is say "RENAULT" now. Stalk controls work perfect so im ha...

Re: Change headlight bulb!

Just changed the bulbs on my 08 scenic II phase II and it was just as akward as the others. The fact that there is a small piece of plastic that serves no purpose only to dig into your arm as you push your way past is annoying. Least i saved myself some wonga. Saved some more too by fitting a new ai...

Re: Im back again, scenic number 3.

I had the 5 seater scenic before it was wrecked, then had another kid, so needed the seven seats. I thought that vauxhall would have been a good buy, 3k fixing in 2 years (not including service etc) and i now know better. Nice to drive, not nice to pay to keep on the road. I will never buy another v...

When you get your aircon regassed they also put oil in it to stop such problems with the bearing, my guess is you have ran out of oil and its knackered the bearing, you might get away with getting it filled with oil, if not its new bearing time which from what i hear can be costly to fix, kyle get y...

Yeah tis a bad shock to the system. I gave myself a pat on the back for making a good call in not braking or swerving to avoid it, which my natural instints told me too. If i had braked then the cars nose would have lowered alot and probably caused more damage. With help from the police we managed t...

My driver one has went, and now the back ones starting to do dodgy things. Very poor design tbh. Maybe someone should make a stickie with the common problems and solutions and tips on how to reset them etc.

I once thought that anyone that said certain diesel was better than others was "away with the fairies" But ive noticed it myself. Put a tank of bp Ulitimate diesel and seen a 6 mpg increase from using sainsburys city diesel. Also pulls far better. Pity its way more expennsive

Go for 18's and put 225x40's on. It will be ever so slighty smaller diameter so will cause no rub.
