Your speedo will read too fast because the tyres are too small they should be 205/50/17

Sell it and buy the 2.0ltr version. Thats what i said earlier in the thread :D which is probably the cheapest way only other real option is making it breath better with a performance manifold and exhaust system including de-cat or performance cat and induction kit, if you want to go all the way get...

POTDCI,surely to get a discount from a renault service manager,you would need to be 'his special friend'!! :D And i thought at £355 I was getting $hafted !?!? martin No seems your quote was ok! He's quoted me £250 all in, but... im kind of hoping that does not include getting $hafted :lol:

You wont see anything it is all ECU related :) The 1st one i had chipped by was my swift gti with a BBR starchip 12 years ago... the ECU was removed the original chip de-soldered and the new one soldered in hard work! gained 6bhp but raised my rev limiter from 7800rpm to 9000rpm... but now it is all...

A good chip usually gives about 5-10% increase on a normally aspirated petrol engine, my mates old 172 clio went from 171bhp up to 184 on the rollers but he couldent really notice it when driving, it could iron out any flatspots though.

I would think it will start to go back up when it gets a bit warmer, i do similar driving to you and im getting 38.6 at the moment but im expecting 43-45 in the summer.

Box's are a doddle on the 120 i presume it's the same on the 130? mine just plugs into the common rail it is obvious when you take the cover off the engine.
