Thanks - found the best idea! Traded it in after 6 long weeks of ownership for a pug 307cc (had the 206cc prior to the megance and loved it). 3 trips to garage for warranty work which was never done fed up with the judders and loss of power - now lost patience and about 2 grand but will be worth it ...

Megane CC Driving with boot open
Need help please. Have just been to a store to collect some furniture that just fits inside the boot, but couldn't get lid closed, so just tied it down, jumped in and NO GO! Car wouldn't start - kept flashing boot open. 2 options, either I drove home with box on passenger seat, roof down and getting...

Kangaroo Petrol
Hi All, Bought a 2004 1.6vvt CC and it's just over 36000 miles. Had it serviced last week at Renault (major service), and asked them to check it over while it was in. Dunno what's happening - thought it was a loss of power, but 9 times out of 10 when taking off in first gear - just before I change i...

Megane CC Wind Deflector
Hi there, Just a wee warning for the CC owners out there that are thinking of purchasing a Wind Defletor. Don't be silly like me and buy one off ebay that doesn't mention it's an original genuine article as I bought one - £99 plus £15 postage and this horrendous thing arrived that had to be bolted t...

Another New Bod
Hi folks, I'm another newbie, just got a 2005 1.6 CC in Black (traded in my 2002 pug 206cc) and am delighted with it - 36000 on the clock so a wee bit high, but I'll not be running it too far (did 500 in my pug between mot's last year). Wondered if anyone can help with the model though, the log book...

Excellent, Thanks
I've ordered a plug and pins off ebay last night after seeing a similar diagram on the net - but this one is much clearer. I took the H/U out last night for a look before I ordered it - so should be on my way now....
Thanks to all for help.

Thanks for the information
Hi there - thanks for the information - do you know what kind of connection it is at the stereo end eg 3.5, 2 audio plugs etc? The reason I use just the jack is that we have an ipod and a MP3 player, but also our phones have 3.5mm headphone sockets so you can connect that up if necessary for instant...

Connecting Ipod etc to Update List H/U - different stories
Wondered if someone could clarify something for me? Have just bought a 54 plate megane cc which is fitted with a update list H/U and an in-dash multidisk. I'm wanting to add a jack for ipod, etc and there seems to be a few stories about what you can and can't do (is there maybe 2 versions?). Some me...
