Re: roof lift mechanism
Had a similar issue for 12 months which was finally sorted a month ago when I saw a different dealer, What I thought was the roof hinges squeaking was actually the plastic shelf bit at the back constantly moving about. There are 3 metal holders that it sits in at the back of the shelf, you can see t...

Re: Cabriolet roof half open Whooops???
I have done this a few times aswell to clean the back window, just beware that on one occasion after about 2 mins the roor started moving back by itself, I had left the card in and the ignition on when this happened, I had moved it from the down position to half way and it moved itself back into the...

Re: should I have 2 rear fog lights?
Just answered my own question by checking the hand book, should of checked that first as it points out that both have a blub but only the driver side one is wired.

mine goes down to 15 and up to 27 on auto climate control, you can get cooler I think if you turn the climate control off auto and just put the aircon on manually

Re: CC Prospective Buyer

I have had many leaks in the car it has been back in 3 times this year already for a major leak on the drivers door card and seat, finally th...

Re: headlamps stopped working
I had both blubs blow on mine at the same time when it was in the dealer being serviced, or so they told me!! When I questioned what were the chances of them blowing at the same time I was told it was more common that you might think.

Re: 2004 cc radio woes
Same happened on my 2007 cc in December had to have a new cable put in as it had a break in it from opening and closing the boot, had it done under warranty but think they had to take the seats and carpets out to feed it through to the front. I can see that they also left the original cable in. It h...

Re: Head lamp replacement
Are you asking how to remove the blub? With my 07 car you leave the plug on the back of the blub and apply slight pressure and this will release the blub from the holder and allow you to remove it. Took me hours to figure it out the first time I did it as I was feeling for a spring clip aswell, it w...

Banging and creaking roof on CC
Hi Folks I have searched this on here but can see a post with this problem so am thinking it is not common. Has anyone with a CC ever had problems with the roof creaking and banging as if it is bouncing around? It has been into the dealer twice now and they can't find anything wrong with it, last ti...
