Sounds like a Customer Service complaint to me, especially since you were instructed not to get the service by the dealer. I must agree that Renault need much much clearer instructions on servicing. I was told by the salesperson that my CC was every 18K, only to find out it was actually 12K a month ...

Interestingly mine has started to develop the same problem and is especially worse when warm. It comes through the pedals, steering and seat.

I will be watching with interest. Anyone else experiencing / solved it?

Firstly, welcome and glad to hear no one was hurt.

This is very worrying and I hope Renault are going to get to the bottom of this. A lot of the Renaults I have seen have this option, and i would be interested to see if it effects the Renault CC too as the folding roof is also glass.....

Just heard from Renault (i am going to write a definative guide to this thing once it is fixed) and they say the black particles are back, so it wasn't a bad batch of fuel. Was defereed to Renault tecnical who stated: "Have seen this problem before on a few diesels (never petrol) where the tank or t...

Has anyone had a 2.0T fixed yet? If so, can you tell renault what they did to fix it as they haven't a scooby doo? I think there is definately a seperate fault for the 2.0T, mine STILL hasn't been resolved and it goes in again next week. It seems that the 1.6/2.0 seem to be fine once the coils are ...

Well following my last post there was a little twist to the tale at the end. As I went to pick up the car, after the week Renault had kept it, the technition finally managed to repeat the problem I was having - rah! Some interesting points were made. It only seems to to it with less than a 1/4 of a ...

Hi all! Latest update: Renault have had my car all week with the problem and, suprise suprise, can't replicate the fault even though diagnostics still state a mis-fire in the first chamber. As the technition stated they have already replaced everything mechanical (plugs, coils and injectors) and hav...

They have fitted 4 new injectors!!! Speaking to the RTE the problem with the 2.0 Turbo is different to the rest of the range? Hopefully this will be the end of it, but I won't be holding my breath. Only time will tell. I will keep you in informed of it's progress Hmmm, be interested to see h...

This Flashing toxic fume light thing is catching!!! My 2.0T is doing exactly the same thing as Gillykids & AndyL's 2.0T's Both yesterday and today I drove 50 or so miles down the M11 no problems, I get held up in stationary traffic on the north circular and within 30 secs the Toxic Fume Light s...

Re: Toxic light issue fixed on 225

my toxic emmissions light is now fixed, after an injector and a sender unit replaced. It had been falsely diagnosed as a coil issue at Camdens. Have been running the car for 3 weeks now without the light coming on. However, on replacing the sender unit, the seal was faulty and its now in to have th...
