Re: Rear window stopped working

When you press the window switch for that rear window on the driver's door, can you hear a "clicking" sound? If you can hear clicking within the rear door then I would go to that door and then press the window switch for that door and make sure the clicking sound is there also. If you hear...

Tuner list radio wiring diagram

Hello all! I can't seem to find a wiring diagram which is helping me understand the wiring on the back of the radio but I am trying to find the "illumination" or "dimmer" wire which dims the radio lights when using the dimmer switch on the driver's side. There are 3 connectors, y...

Re: megane mk2 2007 2.0t dynamique

Hello there Winza,

I would maybe recommend getting a company or machine shop to perhaps fabricate you one? Or take measurements of your existing hole and find one online with the same measurements.

That's all I can think of I'm afraid.

Re: Water collecting behing the dash

Hey there Mark! I'm glad to hear that it has worked out for you! I would recommend to not park under trees (if you can help it), leaves and other debris is mostly the cause of the drainage hoses blocking. I would also recommend that every so often you look through the mesh holes on the front passeng...

Re: Trying to find sidelight wire

Yes they're LEDs and with most vehicles which have footlights as standard, the footlights are light when the sidelights are turned on. This is what I'm trying to replicate. I do know other sources I can use to make them light up but I would indeed like them to wired into the sidelight wires.

Trying to find sidelight wire

Hello all, I've been recently adding my own footwell lights to my 2005 Megane hatchback, I would like them to come on when my sidelights are on. I know that from both front headlamps there is a blue wire to the engine bay fusebox but from there it doesn't remain blue. Could anyone help me out to fin...

Re: Water collecting behing the dash

I had this very same issue, you'll have to take off the wipers and the plastic pieces at either end of the scuttle panel. Once you've removed those, you then remove the main plastic panel and from the sounds of you saying that you hear "sloshing" that would mean both drainage hoses are blo...

Re: rear camera fitting ?

No worries! You could get some 3m doubled sided tape and if the camera comes with its own bracket you can perhaps stick it on the plastic trim, under the third brake light when opening the boot. Or if you don't have a bracket, I would reckon to put it on the parcel shelf as you mentioned! On routing...

Re: LED Indicator Upgrade

I used Auto Lighting LEDs for all my lights in and out of the vehicle. The indicators are really bright and work flawlessly without any issues! These are the indicators I have on the front and rear, they're a little pricey now but when the sales on they're worth getting. Indicators: https://www.auto...

Re: rear camera fitting ?

Hi there Alerton! I recently came past this the other night whilst looking for something else and this could possibly be of use to you. It's a neat bit of kit, its essentially a number plate light with a reversing camera intergraded within it and I think you can cut the wire if it doesn't have the f...

You can use an existing nut/bolt as there're a fair few tucked up away on the bulkhead.

Found missing trim, not sure where it goes.

I was working on my car, I removed all the front such as wipers, scuttle panel and the wiper linkage unit to clean all the debris and leaves out from there to stop it blocking up. But I've come across this piece of plastic which was sitting under the wiper wiring, not sure what it is or where it bel...

Airbags within A-pillars?

Hello all!

Quick question. I own a 2005 (54 plate) Megane and was wondering if there are any airbags in the A-pillars as I'm wanting to hardwire my dashcam into the fuse box and would like to have the wire run down inside the A-pillar for a clean factory fit.
