It is hidden in the handle of the hand break so unless I remove the cover it is not visible.
I would assume that it is the same system as it is a bit of a money spinner.

Got mine fixed but needed a new handbrake assembly at £185! Told them to leave the old one in the boot, got it home took some of it to bits and guess what was wrong. A tiny bit of plastic that the button release spring needs to bend against has broken off so the spring does not force the button back...

I need to know how to fix this, it happened the other day and the Renault garage want £117 to look at it let alone fix it.

The cap thing next to the rear door pull passenger side is loose. I can pull it out with my fingers to reveal a hole in the door. How do I fix this back into place (without using no-nails!).
Is this a common problem?
