Gearbox Whine
I have recently encountered a strange whine from the car when accelerating from about 40-60mph, only in 5th gear. The rest of the gears seem fine just when the gear lever is in 5th it is a really loud whine gradually tailing off at about 60mph. There is no change in the apparent performance of the c...

Cam sensor and coils - Need some advice
Has trouble with the Migrane again the other day, it appeared as though one of the coils had failed (happened four times before so I thought I could tell the signs), lumpy idle and poor acceleration. Had the AA out and he tried a new coil in all of the ports but the problem remained. He advised that...

Managed to get my hands on it and move it around a bit, it started soon after. There is no way I will be able to get to it, I am no mechanic!

Got mine fixed but needed a new handbrake assembly at £185! Told them to leave the old one in the boot, got it home took some of it to bits and guess what was wrong. A tiny bit of plastic that the button release spring needs to bend against has broken off so the spring does not force the button back...

Rear door pull handle
The cap thing next to the rear door pull passenger side is loose. I can pull it out with my fingers to reveal a hole in the door. How do I fix this back into place (without using no-nails!).
Is this a common problem?
