Re: Mystery spring and power loss
i once tested if the car cuts the power to the engine when the brake pedal is pressed and... it doesnt :D so i think you can rule this option out by the way, the same thing occasionally happens to me too - i have yet to get to it though. my guess is something with the accelerator pedal or the clutch...

Re: Clock Spring Question
you only need to replace this cable https://www.ebay.com/itm/Repair-Wire-Clock-Spring-Spiral-Cable-AirBag-for-RENAULT-MEGANE-2-MK-ll-WAGON/173650902032?hash=item286e667c10:g:tJkAAOSwykxdebEu its just as easy (you dont even need to remove the whole indicator unit if youre skilled enough)

Re: Second generation Megane dash console on at ALL times
i can remove the card without killing the engine too. after all, that would be kind of dangerous, wouldn't it?
however, when the car is locked (or just when the radio is off), i cant control the windows.

Re: Washer problem
you dont have to buy anything, just pop the bumper off, disconnect the hoses from the washer motor, drain the windshield washing liquid (as it will pour out in the next step), and - now its going to be difficult to explain - try to gently remove the bottom part of the motor (the part to which the ho...

Re: Door puddle/courtesy lights
i doubt you will find a replacement. new parts like this are extremely hard to find. your best bet is to try going to a scrapyard.

Re: Headlamp adjustment
they are on the lower side of the headlight unit, closer to the outside of the car (on both left and right). you can try to access them through the wheel arch, but that is notoriously difficult, so I recommend to take the bumper off. its a bit annoying but it will make the job 1000x easier. you need...

I think your solution is very good! Doesn't matter it isn't pretty if it works right? I also have the problem with water in door storage. I'll try putting some plastic foil there.

same problem here, I found out that this is due to the reflective layer in the projector housing coming off. only the bare metal remains and it does not have the same reflective capabilities as the original reflective material. the problem is that this is basically unfixable. you just have to buy a ...
