Have you checked the battery on the car, it sounds like it has died.

That sounds like your Servo (Brake Booster) is leaking vacuum, test the operation of that first.

Try over at the Renault forums, it seems a bit more populated so you may get more help on your subject.

Re: Rear ABS Fault Caused by totally rotten ABS Mount plates
I wish turning them the other way would work ! Unfortunately by doing that the sensor would then face the wrong way, lol. Obviously, but if the sensor facing the wrong way is the only problem with turning the plate just reform / discard the clip and position the sensor the correct way round and fin...

Re: Rear ABS Fault Caused by totally rotten ABS Mount plates
That's disappointing, I though you had solved the problem  good thinking with the piece of exhaust to decrease the hole size ;) I'm guessing you've tried this but would fitting the plate the other way round (inside out) help in any way? The only other thing I can think of would be to hammer the...

Re: BRAKE WARNING BEEP NOISE
Yeah I don't think you can rule anything out, make sure the contacts in the plug that connects to the rear light are all in clean condition and making a good contact.

Re: BRAKE WARNING BEEP NOISE
The system is a dumb system so the fact that the brake fluid is dirty / old should not matter, it only works on the level of the fluid.
Not sure what the beep can mean ?

Re: rear abs mount
Thanks for that.
I suppose if you're stuck they're better than nothing but the ones with the preformed space for the sensor are a better option, and in reality they shouldn't be more than a couple of quid each.
Cheers.

Re: rear abs mount
Bit of a carry on having to do that when they cost £35.
This may be a better option if they start to sell them... viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27822&p=143472#p143472

Those don't have the clip part to hold the sensor.
