Removint the air vents.

Hi Peeps,

I need to take the air vents out - the ones in the center - not the door sides.

I think I have it figures out ... remove the clock surround which exposes two screws ... undo them and the lift out. Is that all there is to it or does the whole dash have to come out?

Re: Manualy wind window back up.

Yeha - connections all corroded. It was wet but that could be because the window was down durring the rain we had. i split the white bit of the motor and got the window back up. I am seriously considering just locking it in place and leaving the window not working ... can't remember the last time wa...

Movine the clock in preperation for a display...

Hi all, I am looking at mounting a screen up top on the dash - where the factory fitted screen would go. This will obviously block the clock/display. I don't think this will be a big deal as most stuff will be on the display anyway. Radio will be on the aux setting and the display will have the time...

Heater fan - something a little different.

Hi all, I have a strange issue with my heater fan. It only works on speed 3. I found plenty of people having it only working on speed 4 and replacing the thermal fuse/resistor but nothing on only having speed 3 working. I am guessing this means it's something different. I was wondering if anyone has...

Hey folks.

Morning all, just picked up my new Megane (1.5 dci). Had a spin around the block and it seems like it will be fun (and cheap). There is only one key card (sightly making me nervous) and that's not in wonderful condition. I have ordered replacement plastics form e-bay (only a few quid) but I would be...

Re: DAB in Sunderland/Newcastle area.

Ah - so there is hope. So replace the existing aerial with something like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Roof-Mount-Active-Amplified-FM-DAB-Radio-Car-Aerial-Antenna-Mast-FME/302320534235?hash=item4663b542db:g:3jEAAOSw8lpZHVuD if I am reading you right... From what I read the head lining i...

DAB in Sunderland/Newcastle area.

Hi Peeps, I am getting my Megane 2 on Saturday and would like to put a DAB adapter in there. Issue is that we are in a poor signal area. Has anyone got any advice on installing a DAB aerial suitable for a poor area? Best I guess would be to replace the existing FM aerial and replace it with somethin...
