Clutch clicking when depressed

Hi, When i depress the clutch I get a loud click or thud - the pedal feels spongy like the spring isnt working - when I have reached under the pedal you can push a large pin back towards the drivers door - when fully in place the pedal is fine and firm - i am guessing something has broken off which ...

Re: Cable feed to glovebox

yeh i have used the air con hole - all is does is just puts cold air into the glovebox - but why do you need this ?!?

if not take the glovebox out and then cut it in the top right corner and feed the wire in - this way when you sell the car no one will see the hole

Re: Cable feed to glovebox

easiest thing is to remove the glovebox totally - its only 5 screws and is like a 2 min job, this makes it so much easier to drill and you can also see whats behind. I about 6 leads running into my glovebox (for a switch box) and I just run it thru the two holes there for the tunebox

I dont know why you need an additional ground point but thats what the original post said

The only time that i know that you need a dedicated ground wire is for an amp but thats because of the power involved

Re: Alpine HU ground cable mounting point

An earth ground wire is personally the same as a good earthing point - as both routes end up at the battery (as chassis is connected to battery via chassis ground lead)

Why dont you run a negative wire straight to the battery - cant get a better earthing point than that
