Don't know about the CD changer but you can get a steering stalk adaptor for about £25 that connects into the ISO port on a new stereo.

The yellow wire is the 12V line connected directly to the battery to provide constant power for memory when off.
The red is the ACC power and only runs when the ignition is turned on.
