Well I found the culprit, 10amp fuse in the engine bay fuse box, 3rd time checking them today, firstly using multimeter and they all beeped, so thought they were all ok, then I set about removing them one by one to visually check, first 10 amp fuse I pulled was blown, how can it beep if it's blown??...

Looked ok to me, couldn't see any obvious corrosion on them, taking it to local fitter tonight see if he can sort it, will report back thanks

Done subframe bushings, lowered subframe, made up a puller from some threaded bar nuts and washers but stripped threads off bar, those bushes are tight, ended up taking subframe off and taking it to local garage to get pressed out and new ones in, think from read...

Thanks for your response, I've put how to replace front subframe bushings in search but nothing comes up, I've made up a bush puller from some threaded bar nuts and washers all I want to know is can they be pushed out on the car and if there's room when subframe is lowered

hi i have a megane 2008 1.4 , just fittd new wishbones and track rods, upon fitting second wishbone i found one of the subframe bushes worn, can these be changed by just lowering the subframe,or is it a big strip down?, be very greatfull if someone could advise me, thanks in advance
