Still having this issue but especially in the cold.
Which parts need replaced?
I'm guessing the lock but the sensor doesn't do anything either, it doesn't open other doors.
I cannot find the correct LOCK anywhere, it's my drivers side and it's a coupe.
Can anybody help??

I've a 2009 1.9dci mk3 coupe. It has the total keyless feature which opens and locks ALL doors when you cover the sensor behind the lock. My problem now is the drivers side will not open, I've tried the sensor, both key cards, and the wee button on the handle. No joy at all so I have to open it from...

I have just left it disconnected.
No big deal as it's not as if someone's going to want under my bonnet before they decide to steal my car lol.
Just disconnect it and see if it helps pal.

My mk3 is the same.
I gain access by opening the boot which then opens my door or I just use the remote.
Not worth the hassle or cost to fix really.

I've disconnected the wire loom to the bonnet sensor and all seems normal now.
Guess I need a new catch or maybe take it out and give it a good clean.
Is it easy enough to remove?
