Megane 2006 hard top convertible, dynamique, priveledge. they do not work using the switches on the drivers door....and do not work when they top is put open, or when using the centre console window switch. mine is just a dodgy connection in the electrics under the drivers seat. I just take out the connections and put them back.......works every time

Hi all I have a slight problem when opening/closing the roof. Opening is fine, all works great, but when closing one of the "fans" on the parcel shelf sticks/catches and does not roll into position as the other one does....I have to stop shutting and give it a light push and then it rolls ...

will this affect the performance of the car ? or fail the MOT on it ?.......if it poses no danger I might just leave it

I had the same. It was the connection under the drivers seat. It gets disturbed when the drivers seat is moved back and forth i.e when the wife drove it she always moved the seat. Switch off engine....move drivers seat right back....then you will see the wires in the flooring, just take out and remo...

thanks for the reply. The car is only used once a week if that...it stands outside the house most of the time on an incline.

I'm going to try parking with the rear end facing downhill..........see if that has anything to do with it.

Hi all

when I start the car I am getting a rushing water noise for 2-3 seconds which appears to be coming from under the handbrake area. It then stops and car drives fine, no temperature issue or anything else I can spot......anyone have any ideas what it is etc ?

If you get air bag light and a spanner light.....switch engine off...slide drivers seat right back....under drivers seat, under the carpet you will see a connector box....unplug and put it back together......that should sort it. It will be a loose connection which usually gets upset be moving the dr...
