Gearbox oil

Just been doing bottom arms on my 1.9 dci with 6 speed box, short story is one drive shaft popped out and obviously a bit of oil came out, well I say oil but it was very milky, Because of this I decided to drop all the oil and replace it. Iv searched forum and on line, type of oil isn't the problem ...

On the checks iv done it seems there is no switching earth for the downward, is there any common faults causing this? Plug in a pillar looks sound.

well after the massive response to my posting i will update you all. iv cleaned allthe rubbers and joints with tfr and given a good rinse off, all leaks now cured. must be down to muck on the rubber contact surface.

I do use shell regular.... But also the glug of 2 stroke makes it run 100% better than just the shell alone its has better pick up, it has better fuel economy, definitely quicker all in all she has low down grunt not much but noticeably more than this old 8 valve french tractor engine had before it...

you need a four wheel alignment doing professionally, any suspension bush faults or dodgy wheel bearings will be checked for as part of the alignment.

dont panic just yet. oil, and sometimes quite a bit of it does find its way into the intake system, happens on all makes and models, it settles in areas waiting to find a way out, it gets in there via crank breather system as well as sometimes from the turbo oil seals. i had two problems on my 1.9 c...

My jag has its moments with its tailgate, Jetwash is usually the culprit rather than rain. The megane did leak on the joints of the rubber seals but a good clean and degrease has cured that problem. took out the switch that's inside the diamond badge, thankfully it's quite serviceable, cleaned the contacts and wd40 just to remove any moisture. Worked fine thismorning, time will tell if the switch was the fault.

central locking

my cc has developed a strange fault, when the boots open the central locking flicks open and shut and boot light flashes. any clue to the cure? doesnt do it all the time but obviously it need sorting. any help appreciated.

anybody have a fix for drip onto front seat from the joint in the seal at top of A post? window seems to seat ok into its seal, the roof looks to close tight but i still have a drip on passenger side, any adjustments that can be made?
