Re: DAB
Thanks for that steve. I'd love to swap out the aerial on my CC, but I know its going to cause a lot pain

DAB
Do any of you have DAB in your car? What do you use to get a DAB signal?
I have tried the aerial DAB splitter, which didn't work.

Re: Weird window problem
Thanks for the reply Bob. The drivers one is a cube temic replacement (at the time I needed a quick/dirty fix for the failed module) so I'm not too worried about that. The passenger rear looks like it is an original TEMIC. AFAIK the rear driver, and Front passenger are also original TEMIC. I've read...

Looking at the buttons on the drivers window switch panel, press down on the button the window should go up. Lift the switch the switch the win...

xenon headlight upgrades
So after, removing headlight bulbs, taking them out again reseating them, and finally realising you cant polish a t**d. I opted to purchase a xenon upgrade kit. before I fit it I want to minimise the amount of times I have to take the front bumper off, as will my wife as the swearing gets too much :...

Re: light fuses on F1 team 230 R26
I did word for word exactly the same.
I have just come in from a cold and windy day after 2 hours of repalcing a fuse. The person who signed off, or thought it was a good idea to put the fuse box in such a stupid place should have their hairy nuts waxed and pulled

Re: Useless headlights - help.
Craig did you get your lights sorted ? I bought some Osram Nightbreakers. Took the bumper off the car and took the headlights off the car to see what was going on and to see if I could clean the lense. The lenses were dirty but I couldn't remove them from the light unit as they didn't fit through t...

Re: Useless headlights - help.
although I haven't put them into my megane as yet, i always used to run my cars with 100w rally bulbs, illegal but at least they lit the road ahead and I never got stopped ones in over 20 yrs of having them fitted to various cars and they are cheap to. Hope you get your problem resolved mate. Do yo...

Re: Useless headlights - help.
I have exactly the same problem, and exactly the same bulbs. It has been suggested that the projector lense has collected a lot of dust and residue over the years, and might be worth cleaning those first. My plan is tommorow to take the bumper off, remove the lighting units and try cleaning the lens...

Noise from sun blind
Loving my 2007 CC, what I'm not loving is the noise
I have the sunblind pulled to the front of the glass roof, but when I do this the bangs and squeaks are so annoying, anyone have any ideas how I can stop this, besides keeping the blind open?
Thanks

Re: In car GPS/Bluetooth unit in place of stereo
I believe it will be possible, you will need just a slightly different system, Looks like you'll need a single din or flip out screen. If you are technically minded there are plenty of units on ebay that run on android that you can configure. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2...
