ELM 327 won't connect
Hi guys. I'm having trouble trying to get one of these units to connect via bluetooth to my tablet. I have downloaded torquepro lite, and it connects to my transit no problem. Has anybody else experienced any such connectivity problems? At first I thought that it might be a dodgy cheap unit, so I or...

Re: 1.9 dci massive hesitation at 3000rpm
So if it's potentially the ecu cutting off the power then this would suggest it's one of the engine sensors perhaps? I did order an ELM unit, but it wouldn't connect to the ecu. Apparently I need one designed for a diesel, whereas I didn't know there were different kinds. I have ordered a new one, s...

Few hints and tips in here..

Some say bumper off, others suggest by removing just the front grill.

Re: can't start up my engine
Is it possible that when you washed the car that some water got into the fusebox? Only takes a few minutes to take a peek.

Re: 1.9 dci massive hesitation at 3000rpm
The link is much appreciated, and it's good to hear of a pattern one still going strong. I will order one right now.. I have no friends crazy enough to own a Renault, so I'm on my own with this one
Thanks for taking the time to get back to me!

Re: 1.9 dci massive hesitation at 3000rpm
Cheers for that. I had the same issue with a dead maf on an mgzt cdti a few years back. Sluggish under 2500rpm then picked up. I did try a maf off ebay but still the problem persisted. Where are you seeing maf's for £20? The cheapest genuine unit I have seen so far is closer to £70. Can pattern maf'...

1.9 dci massive hesitation at 3000rpm
Hi guys, my Meggy is suffering from a big stumble at 3000rpm. Everything is fine below that point, pulls like a train, excellent mpg (55-60 calculated not computed on a run) and as smooth as silk. The turbo was replaced by the previous owner 2 years ago. I know the maf is shot, as unplugging it does...

According to Haynes, the front fog lights fuse is in the engine bay, and it is listed as F10 20A

Re: Intermittent Lumpiness !!
I suffer the same with my 1.9dci. It comes and goes as it pleases, and mostly after long motorway runs too. My first port of call was to try cleaning the egr, but it's stuck solid for now! I have improved matters somewhat with an oil and filter change however. Plus I dropped in a new fuel filter at ...

Re: A/C and Demister switch
Also search for the air con pressure switch, as this can be a cause of the issues you have.

Re: A/C and Demister switch
First things that spring to mind would be to make sure your outside temperature sensor is working and not under reading, as the a/c won't switch on if the temperature is too low. Not sure what it is on the Renault, but on an Audi A4 I used to own it was 3 degrees C. After that I'd be checking all of...

Re: 1.5dci egr valve removal
I found this the other day when searching for a bit of help with mine before realising it was for the 1.5  Looks like the black box you refer to is the air box, which just pulls off once the jubilee clip on the inlet pipe is removed. https://www.renaultforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=130992 Hope...
