Airbag faults
Hi guys, Got an airbag light on the Megane, read the fault codes today and got the below codes DF071 - Drivers Frontal Airbag Circuit 2 DF072 - Passenger Second Row Seat Belt Pretensioner Circuit Now I'm guessing the first is related to the squib and is probably a broken clock spring As for the seco...

Re: 1.9Dci Floppy Gearstick Left-Right
Hi Bob, thanks for the advice I had it apart over the weekend and dismantled a bit of everything so took the opportunity to change the unit, the old one had snapped on of the plastic bushes inside the selector so was flopping everywhere and making gear changes difficult. I got a second hand unit wit...

Re: Suspension question
As a follow up, (I forgot to post this a long time ago lol) the r26 shocks are very slightly bigger diameter and do not fit in standard 1.9dci hubs. The r26 springs will fit on the standard 1.9dci shocks though which is what I'm currently using, although I can't help but feel that it's would probabl...

1.9Dci Floppy Gearstick Left-Right
Hi guys, got a 1.9dci with loads of left-right play on the gearstick even when in gear. It's still tight up and down Also having issues getting between 4th / 5th when the cars warm as though the selector is sticking Anyone know if it's more likely to be a linkage cable or the gearstick or selector o...

Re: Suspension question
I had one of the standard shocks off at the weekend and it looks good. Looks as though the r26 shocks have a very slightly bigger diameter but it looks as though it will still fit well in the hub. Only other difference is the drop link tabs are at an angle rather than straight, can't see it being an...

Does anyone know if there are proper dimension drawings of the r26 shocks/springs and of the standard dci shocks available somewhere?

Hi guys, share a 1.9dci Meg with the Mrs and figured I'd sign up to here to find out a bit of extra information for modding.
Have plenty of experience with other French stuff, mainly 306s. Just looking to learn a bit more, got plenty of mods planned
