Reliability, Electrics, DPF or FAP, EGR etc:
Just one more thing, well maybe not one more :-) Would you say the electrical side of things has improved on the later 2008 / 2010 models? I had a few issues with brake and sidelight bad earthing, which sometimes resulted in the light on the dash coming up to say a light was out? I don't want to fin...

Sensors
Yeah they look to be decent ones, with a buzzer more than the LED readout.
I think I fitted mine below the moulds and I was removing the bumper to fit a towbar at the time so decided to do the whole thing at once.

Megane CC 1.5 DCI 106 BHP or 1.9 DCI 130 BHP?
Would you say there is a massive noticeable difference between the lesser powered 1.5 and the 1.9?
Enough to warrant the extra £50 tax?

Re: Roof issues?
Cheers chaps, With regard to the rear bumper being removed, if its a similar layout to the 3DR then it was pretty straight forward to do, no major issues, and for the same thing, I fitted reversing sensors, to be honest, the ones with the LED readout were terrible, I wouldn't waste money again on se...

Re: Megane CC meet 2nd try
We just went up for a weekend of driving in Kit Cars in June, had the weather been much kinder, it would have been spectacular, and it was the turning point for me deciding agains't building another one, thinking as I was getting drenched, how nice it would be in a convertible, the roads were superb...

Megane CC Sport Bumpers
One more thing for now, I love the look of the CC's converted with the Sport bumpers, and wondered which bumpers I am looking for once I have my car? Are they a straight forward fit? Or is there loads of cutting to do to get the rear one on especially? I also need to fit a removable tow bar ideally,...

Roof issues?
Hey up, So just making final reviews on certain cars, and wondered if the roof on the 1.5 DCI CC 2009 is a good reliable bit of kit? The only issues I had with my 3DR 1.5 DCI 2007 was brake light bad earthing (seems common on french cars for some bizarre reason) Not enough to put me off though. I st...
Megane CC
Good afternoon chaps and chappete's I am on the lookout for a Megane II Convertible, 1.5 DCI ideally, low mileage also, no more than 40,000 ideally. Looking at the last editions of this before it went to the new shape, so I think I can still get a 2009 one. I was looking to buy a Saab 9-3 TID initia...
