I can't believe you are bothering to spend that much time, effort and money on what sounds like a car which has not been looked after for many years and very possibly been in a crash! just had the exact same issue, turned out I had 2 snapped engine mounts, one on the right and then the dog bone one under the car, both pretty cheap to replace and seem a common issue

So I bought this "cheap" runabout around 5 days ago now, after thinking it was badly hunting on idle and had a service light, air bag light and engine management light on I did the following Changed spark plugs & cleaned throttle body - improved it a fair bit but still not right Fitted...

its highly likely that this is a problem with the wires under the passenger seat, happens very often indeed on the clio sports. wiggle the wires around or unplug them and clean them and plug back in and it should go away. rememeber to disconnect the battery for 30 mins before hand just as a precaut...

So I bought a cheap megane a few days ago and it's got a few issues. Horn doesn't work Blowers don't work Engine hunting on idle and feels powerless. Obd2 port not working? Today I've serviced the car, changed the plugs, removed intake manifold and cleaned throttle body which wasn't too bad actually...
