passenger seat problem
is there a strip down diagram showing the various seat adjustment mechanisms for passenger side
the sliding mechanism works as does the access to the rear controlled by the lever on top of the seat back. it's the one that adjusts the angle of the seat back that does not and its locked almost upright.

I tried both and bought the 1.9, very nice it is to. Plenty of power when needed and good for distance work. 70mph in 6th showing 2000rpm.

Re: regenerate soot filter
the message has gone. 4th gear for 5 miles at 65 to 70mph on way out. the return journey involved two roundabouts on 70 sections that allowed me to drop to 3rd and 40mph and hard accelerate to 55 in 3rd then 4th to 65. this run was 4 miles.
hope this helps others

I need to change the front and rear discs and pads on 2005. I understand the bearing is built in on the rears. are there any special tools required.
Also is there a PDF based workshop manual as opposed to printed.
thanks

I have just bought it with 82k miles but its not clear from the receipts I have if the belt has ever been changed. I have looked on eBay and one seller gave a warning to make sure the right one is purchased as there are two possible. Which is the right kit, also going to replace the water pump. I ha...

Hi there
Hi there. The Megane is a 2005 1.9 diesel convertible with glass roof. A few years older is the second Renault convertible, a 1.1 litre Floride 1961. Two very different cars, very different technologies but the same result, very stylish convertibles. I have got to cure a squeeky front drivers side w...
