so is this a partial repair of the 'control unit' with a new resistor and replacing the wiring harness ? Was the harness a manufacturer part and then replace the resistor ? Guess it must be just another example of modern technology where its not just the resistor but the wirirng aint built to last ...

Hi, I have a Renault Megane II 1.6 16v 2005. Recently the AC stopped working completely. I've got the same error code. I've read that the unit itself is fine but the GlowPlugs are what cause the error. Either because one (or more) have died or they are cheap ones. on the 1.9 dci, it's behind the front left wheel arch. Wheel has to come off as does the infil. (it's quite flexible if you wish to bend it instead of removing).
