Thanx for that. Presumably the Temic module is accessible by taking the inner door cover off? Are they expensive? Charlie.

Re: Coil Pack Water Ingress
You are correct about the accumulation of water causing the short/misfire. If the prob re-occurs you will have to address the ingress prob. If yr lucky it wont but come back if it does...Charlie.

Re: Coil Pack Water Ingress
Hello,
The Q is where is the water ingress coming from? I had a similar prob lately and the water was visible and had led to plug failure. You should take the coils out and examine the sleeves for severe corrosion or splits. Would be interested to hear what you find...Charlie.

Hello Folks, The windows on my 1.4 2005 have developed a strange mode of operation in that when the switch is operated the window moves about 2" then stops necessitating repeated use of the switch to get the window fully open/closed. Anyone experienced this? Any advice welcome. Charlie..

Re: Megane 1.4 2005 how to reset engine management light
Further on this~have tried disconnecting the battery for an hour but no success. Anyone had this problem? It has been suggested taking it back to the dealer but it costs £60+ just to turn the light off. Car runs perfectly. HELP.

Re: megane 1.4 cam jumped teeth ?
Hello, A set of plugs of course & an oil filter. Also if you have no evidence that the timing belt has been changed it would be worth just doing it for what it costs, just for peace of mind. Check water pump drive. Also once installed & oiled up spin it over without the plugs on just to pump...

Re: megane 1.4 mechanical door key
Hello again, Thanx for the response. I tried the spare key and discovered that it will not enter the slot in the handle. It appears to be blocked. I examined it and at first I thought that a key may have been snapped off in it but it has been suggested that it could have been "locked off"....
