I have this a lot on my 1.4 16V... mostly it comes on during a long trip then goes out again after a few days !! my garage did a check it points to a faulty sensor on the cat!!! which i ad is fine !!

Had same problem replaced whole glovebox assembly

searched a secondhand one on ebay.fr

All done , repaired at the garage, a new sensor fitted not too expensive 100€ (approx £80) all in parts labour etc

similar problem started on my 2003 Megane 1.4 today .. takes several attempts to start .. stater turning over fine but not firing straight away once running its fine .
No warning lights or messages either , any ideas anyone before i find another big garage bill !!!

I have this, but only in cold weather! and oly on releasing the clutch on gear change
My garage has said its from the clutch release bearing being dry, as the engine warms up it clears
i have had no major problems with the transmission or the engine.

Anyone else find the seat belts in the 3 door Megane really uncomfortable?

cutting in at the neck and way to high on the chest??

any remedy??

Think i may have worked this out,

just got new radio and cd changer to upgrade, have lead and "single blue lead" for lighting

can someone please tell me how to connect this

need to pair up my tunerlist cd and my 6 cd changer

have tried to install,using the code given with the cd changer but will not work?

my belt snapped and had to have top end rebuild, (new valves etc) expensive!!

I had this happen a couple of weeks ago, exactly the same symptoms ( i was doing 50 mile an hour!)
cut out, starer spinning.

for me the cambelt had snapped!!! resulting in a 1720€ bill for repairs to the engine

does anyone know is it the same procedure for the code?? ( the last 4 digits of the serial number like the radio?? )

tried the code given but just get "error" message!!!

well passed by my garage, seems the throttle sensor is at fault

all else ok, warning out now just service light on!!!!!

running to see if clears, if not change assembly ... 400€ (renault part) !!!!!!!

got the same problem just come up on my Megane 1.4 3 door

lack of smooth acceleration?

any ideas anyone??

the car is running but has "jerky" acceleration??
