Re: folding roof parcel shelf
The cable won't be suspended against a boot lid hinge bracket , it's behind the side boot carpet . The sleeve for the cable is French designed to the highest standards and costs over £30 . It's supposed to break so Renault can charge you £69 for a diagnostic to tell you it has broke just you will be...

Re: The brilliant left hand quarter window
Thanks For the advice, I pulled off the black gutters outside the windows today and scrubbed off the moss, I'm sure the moss was letting the rain drop down to the motor . I also put some duct tape on the ends of the gutters to hopefully divert the flow of water elsewhere. The design of the seal betw...

Or do I have to pull the seats out and push it up myself . Hating Renault right now , n...

Re: Parcel shelf too slack
After Renault tried to charge me for a £100 dynastic to tell me a cable needs replacing I decided to work out a way to lower the silly bit of plastic. My first idea is to place a curved bracket on the shelf , so as the roof lowers into the compartment it levers the shelf down . Now maybe a spring in...

Parcel shelf too slack
Hi , I've found my cover no longer lowers in time to be covered by the boot lid . I'm now having to push it down in time and I've noticed its loose like the cables need tightening . Does this require a professional ? Or can anyone have a go ?
Re: Rust
My mate said its just plastic and it's the paint bubbling from poor painting. It Certainly feels like plastic.
Rust
found some rust on the A pillar , are these covered by cosmetic panels or am I in for a epic mot failure ?
