I put a full K&N induction kit on my 04 plate megane 1.6vvy 16v and maybe a little quicker but not much but sounds nice. You have to remove the air box which is a right pain in the arse by the way as u have to take battery tray out etc.

hi and welcome to the owners club. I have a Megane 1.6vvt 04 plate I have changed my air filter and have vinyl wrapped my door pillows which looks good. Glad u sorted it out mate. My pass window was not working and when took the wife to hospital in coming back to the car the window was down. Took door card off etc and it was not even connected on the switch ha ha.

Put back on a works spot on no issues.

When starting my megane I have to press the clutch or break in to start as its a safety feature on them. Can't under stand why it's never asked you to do this as soon as I put my car in it says "push clutch or break".

If the cable is intact I would check that it's not stretched as that won't work if happened. Check it's connected on to the breaks and is not just sat there. I can't be to hard to find mate as only the cable so just start at the top and work ya way down bud
