Good idea. I would need to somehow do the same for the spongy cable too right?

Sounds exactly like what I experienced. Mine was the fuel pump. I took it to a v good independent Renault specialist in Doncaster.

Had the same symptoms. It turned out to be my fuel pump. Try getting it tested for pressure?

Thanks For ideas mickey. You were pretty close in saying fuel haha. Took it into DDC (Doncaster) They diagnose and promise that the repair will fix the issue. It was fuel pump which wasn't putting enough pressure, Started perfectly for weeks now! Hope this helps someone. I can also recommend DDC in ...

Removal of exterior door moulds
Hi recently got a renault megane 2007. The exterior door mould bumper things are looking a little worn. I'm looking to carbon wrap and lacquer them, failing that get painted to match bodywork. I can't work out how to remove them. Can someone advise?
