2004 Megane 1.9 dCi Catalyst removal
Hello chaps! Could you tell me how to remove the CAT on my F9Q 800? I have removed both the manifolds and the turbo to refurb it but something went wrong and there is no boost now so probably will be buying CHRA of ebay and exchange it. I was wondering if it is possible to get rid of the CAT and get...

Re: Renault Megane RenaultSPort 175 Issue And Warning Messag
Hi AJSK, On the modern diesels you have Diesel Particulate filter in order to reduce that bad fumes going in the atmosphere. They usually get clogged up after a while and they need to be regenerated. Usually you need to get it on the motorway and drive it for few miles until the ECU decides all the ...

Re: Low boost below 2000-2500 rpm 1.9 dci FAP
After I had opened the N/S door to fix the electric window have a little surprise in the doors pocket every time it rains. :D Still do not have time to fix it. I have some 17 inch wheels that need to be prepared by spring time and a GF moaning that I am spending too much on the car. :D Well I think ...

I have one of these ELM327 based Bluetooth OBDII scanners. I have been monitoring it for a while and all seems fine. It will turn to be mechanical error I think. I am planing to buy one of these Delphi CDP OBD scanners and check how are the Injectors compensation values. Now need to sort out my rear...

Hi Jim!
It sound as an issue with either the wiring or the connector not making good contact. From what I have read on this forum the connectors tend to melt away. The other option will be the resistor pack itself. Thanks!

Re: Low boost below 2000-2500 rpm 1.9 dci FAP
It is the strangest diesel car I have ever had. When I bought it was alright and after an oil change all these problems seemed to happen. Running really rough which I suggest is something to do with the Fuel Supply system and it does not pull as it did before. I have changed fuel filter(BOSCH),air f...

Re: '54 1.9 dCi Megane Sluggish and noisy
Have changed the inter cooler with original Hella one last weekend because it was leaking. It got a bit better but the rough sound is still there. It seems to be a injection system to me, although when got it scanned with clip the guy said the car is fine.

HI John!
Glad to hear you have sorted the issues for almost no money. Where about you are from? I am asking because it will be good to know if there is a Megane guy around. Thanks!

Re: megane 2004 heater/blower not working
Hi Den73,
Did you check all the connectors to the blower and the resistor park for any deformations? I think these are know to melt (the connectors)?

Hi there!
Could it be the UCH module. I thing is located somewhere behind the fuse and glove boxes. But wait for somebody more experienced than me to comment too as I had my megane for just 5 months. Thanks!

Thanks for the answers guys! Taffyhl, the EGR was rotated by 180 degrees(blanked) so I got it out of the equation. :conf AlexB, when I got the car it showed engine oil too low(the car stood on the drive for few months). So the first placed I have visited was Kwik fit. They've put Titan GT1 5W40. And...

Re: Turned steering and heard a loud bang!
Hi Jimones,
Glad to hear that I have helped. I've bought my car with a broken coil and a local garage charged me £70 all together to change it. The Coil itself is around £30. Cheers!
