Re: Heater fan not blowing

This slideshow may help you, Darren. The heater motors have been known to burn out, though, so it could also be that. Renault's price is around 270 EUR but it's possible to buy an alternative unit for 66 EUR from https://www.carparts-pros.com.

Re: space saver wheels

I have gone for the water-based Slime Sealant Kit, which includes a valve remover and a compressor. https://1jqagq.bn1303.livefilestore.com/y2pkxX7AZYoJjM_CJhsF6uv4VnhhL5RMVMYEPQPofQ6ryAvv1snkNtOk2SplJVnKOExbvp6BgbseUcwqjS4HEHtlWoqs3TNO20xmXFsYeh2KGclItZguBGcSdRTYo2a4lsrHtpVRjGoWptOsOUHw3skLQ/Slime....

FAQ Wheel Fitment 2.0dCi

For some reason, the FAQ section on this forum, which covers wheel fitment, does not detail the 2.0dCi model (2005-2008), which has a different fitment from other Megane CCs. Since the FAQ section is inexplicably locked and therefore cannot be edited, here are the details, in case anyone needs that ...

Re: tyres for cabrio

People obviously havnt grasped that a tyre rated at euro C C has passed that tyre rating and is in the identical bracket as any other tyre rated at that as far as performance goes.... Actually, that's not correct. The tyre labelling system only provides a reference for the fuel economy, wet grip an...

Re: tyres for cabrio

So what is the biggest size tyre that will fit on 17" and what winter tyre is best I'm using Continental WinterContact tyres, size 225x45 R18. However, smaller and narrower is generally thought to be the way to go for winter wheels, as performance is better in snow. The reason mine are larger ...

Re: space saver wheels

The Megane CC is only the second car I've ever owned without a spare wheel in the boot. I always thought the idea of a 'space-saver' ill-thought out, though. Reduced space for the wheel? Fine, then, when you actually need to use it, what are you supposed to do with the full sized one, which has just...

Re: Megane CC - Parking Sensors?

the look is not what bothered me. it the fact that they didn't work hey. But going with the reverse camera and a sony double din head unit Oh, I see. I've thought about the reversing camera but what I really want is a WiFi reversing camera, so I can use it with my phone. Re the double DIN unit, don...

Re: megane cc autolights

Unfortunately, I can't find anything else on Dialogys at the moment. If you can advise the four digit model variant of your car, from the label inside the door (should be top left of the label), I will check again.

Re: Megane CC - Parking Sensors?

Tired them didn't like them and took them out and had the bumper repaired after I made the holes Sounds like you were a bit too quick with the drill. You can tape up the sensors initially and get a good idea of what they are going to look like. The versions which fit from the outside of bumper are ...

Re: its arrived, display and in dash, plenty of photos

I thought it must have RDS. The problem with updating the ICE in the Megane II is that there is no ideal option. The original fold-away navigation screen, which was only available for LHD markets, looks good but is horribly outdated, in terms of OS, resolution etc. Double DIN models require cutting ...

Re: Megane II ICE, What fits and Where Can I Get it?

The links are from 2010 , the company that the links direct to will have changed there website Actually, the domain name no longer exists! That's the problem with adding non-permanent links to reference material. It would have been more sensible to copy the original images and upload them to this s...

Re: Megane CC - Parking Sensors?

Drilled mine into the bumper caps I thought about that but it's a bit high and too visible for my liking. Also, it is not possible to space them evenly at that height, as the central section is too narrow to use with sensors. The factory fit sensors are positioned much lower down (photo) but, as th...

Re: megane cc autolights

I had a look on Dialogys and, for my CC, it only states 'disconnect the connector' (5 in the image below). There is no mention of any separate cables, so it may be a single ribbon connector. Which model do you have? https://1jqagq.bn1303.livefilestore.com/y2pUegzKBN17pW0yktdAlN9nptkCp_2ohpfYBdxs2xOx...

Re: tyres for cabrio

My car had a (mismatched!) pair of ditchfinders on the front when I bought it. I swapped them out immediately and went for Continental SportContact 5s, at £110 each, for 205/50 R17 XL. Continental are usually top of any reviews from reliable independent sources, such as Which or ADAC, whether summer...

Re: photo heavy

its pretty straight forward to install as all the wiring blocks are different That sounds a bit confusing but I assume you mean they can't be fitted into the wrong sockets? You don't show the rear of the single DIN unit but is it identical to the standard unit and therefore just a case of removing ...
