Re: Can anyone recommend a rear parking camera
I have 5 cameras on my cc.. 4 are dashcams ( front back and both sides covering 340 ) and a dedicated rear camera with lines on to indicate each 2ft so I can park without looking over my shoulder ! A bog standard £9 waterproof camera can be fitted nicely where the number plate lights are and the wir...

Re: Should i Buy Chassis Repaired Megane 2007 Good Price
My first megane 1.5 d was 18000 new but 9 month old with 4000 miles on the clock I paid £5500 cash for it as a non recorded repaired accident damaged car. I had used it for a week as a courtesy car from the garage I bought it off. 4 years later I was offer £6800 when part exchanging it and only had ...

Re: Everything electrical....
from what you have said..
all those circuits are fused at the passenger side internal fuse box and the first port of call would be to check that and the one live wire that feeds that.

Re: Problem starting in cold weather
sounds like heater plugs...
to crudely test remove wires to them one at a time and touch a feed from the battery in its place and you should see a spark confirming its fine
replace as necessary.

Re: Advice on buying a house
My advice would be to sell up , find somewhere to rent and buy in two years.... London house prices are in decline, interest rates will be going up, people who own buy to let will be dumping their property into the market and although it takes time to filter through ... you can clearly see hard time...

Re: Wifes 2006 1.9dci megane convertable will not start
As I understood it the sender unit doesn't have a pump and the fuel is drawn up right from the injection pump.. That means any air leak in the entire fuel system to it and air is drawn in rather than fuel taken from the tank. obviously everything from tank to injection pump has to be checked for air...

Re: subtle mods to 54 plate megane 1.5dci
not sure how you could make it handle better as when I owned a lotus elise and megane I always enjoyed the megane as it was so smooth on bumpy twisty country lanes and its ABS was a joy to use in corners although I doubt many do... If you want a really cheap mod you can fit spacers in the front coil...

Re: Mégane II CC built-in GPS display technicals
I use a bog standard 7 inch clip on mirror display with 2 AV switchable inputs. AV 1 is used to display an accurate above number plate reverse camera with markings on each representing 2 ft and is perfect for parking ... And it doubles up as a rear view when driving as I leave it on all the time... ...

Re: Add oil to diesel for better mpg
rented a house in Italy with a diesel boiler and I was blowed if I was leaving a load of heating oil for the next person ... The tank was over 2000l underground and I pumped it to the surface and filled my car and motorhome. I m surmising I dragged up heating oil from the bottom where over the years...
