Re: 1.9dci fueling problem head scratcher
Hi, does it have any fault codes? are you sure air isn't entering the system? it's not mentioned, but presumably the fuel filter has been done. Personally, l don't know about re-mapping, but it sounds like that's when your troubles started, l would have a word with them. Bob. Yes the filter was cha...

1.9dci fueling problem head scratcher
I've had my car 3 years and other than an electrical and EGR problem when I first got it, it's been faultless. I had it remapped for economy and was getting 50+ round town and up to 73 on a long run. Anyway after having it remapped if I poked it too hard it would put the STOP light on and say inject...

Re: Warning lights / limp mode
This sounds like a problem I had with "Ghost codes", I thought my ECU was going down but took the leads off, sprayed WD-40™ into the tails and it cured it.

Re: Electrical problem
I had a load of problem last year, my 1.9dci kept conking out and sometimes wouldn't start, I bought an OBD reader and that wouldn't show a fault yet it would have "Check Injection" on the dash display, so I figured it must be the ECU I looked on eBay with every intention of buying one but...

Re: Electronic fault

Just as a matter of interest where have people got these codes generators from? My battery got disconnected and now my radio won't work, the code is written down twice in my handbooks but doesn't work for some reason.

My 2003 1.9dci suddenly went into limp mode when I went round a corner with the "Check Injection" on the dispay, I got home and stopped it when I tried it again it was fine but it eventually came back a couple of days later. I changed the fuel filter for all this was filthy it made no diff...
