Re: OBD reader (part 2)
First of all the reader is compatable with the car.
Secondly there were no codes and no freeze frame data to review.
I guess that means everythings good, fingers crossed.

start button ignition
Hi all,
When I put the keycard into the slot the message press clutch + start or press brake + start shows up.
I can start the car using the brake option but not when I press the clutch. Why is this? Has anybody else experienced this?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Re: OBD reader (part 2)
I got impatient and bought it, hopefully be at home when I get back from work later. I was researching these readers and discovered you can delete the codes you have found. Does this mean you can delete them once you have fixed the fault or you can simply delete them without fixing them. if it's the...

Thanks for the replies guys.
I'm only after a simple code reader just to find any simple to fix faults and hopefully fix them.
Anything more technical I will av to take car to a garage and let them sort it.

Re: Is this normal?
Thanks for the reply taffyhl. I took the car to a local garage yesterday afternoon and they concirmed it was the top engine mount being the problem. They also said the car being able to drive without the accelerator was the torque of the engine and is completely normal. I noticed an article on clean...

Is this normal?
Hi all, I'm used to driving petrol cars but have now moved onto a diesel. My 2004 megane estate 1.9 diesel sounds and feels like the idle speed is to high. The revs show it is idling at 900 rpm but it is loud and vibrates throughout the car. If I put it into 1st gear and release the clutch the car w...
