All clios in the household are perfect but as soon as a megane comes along it causes trouble and funnily enough its half the mileage of the clios as well Its in a diagnostics (psh :roll:) now so hopefully it pops up with something as ive seen others with dephaser tr...

Right thats what i was thinking.. But apparently the ecu advances the pulley on startup for it to fill with oil but again if it would not go back to the retarded position and that caused the stalling then surely it would still be advanced when disconnecting the solenoid thus the problem should re-oc...

Thats cute! I may do the same for my mrs but my plate is currently my surname so would have to be some variation of that haha! Hiding the age of the car is perfect as i find these cars still look quite modern

Quick update:

Checked throttle body looks clean and not blocked at all
Checked tdc sensor that looks cleab
Checked spark plugs all look fine
Reset computer by pulling battery when checking tdc sensor

Any more ideas? Getting a obd reader to check for any issues

Hehe that was what I was trying to avoid.. I've found that it is possible after some googling not sure if I'm allowed to link to another forum but it says they un lip from the back but to be fair they must have a 10 year old child doing it as no way I can fit my hands up there haha

Agreed as above it happened on mine a couple of times after heavy rain but seems to go in an hour or so.. May try cleaning mine just for a servicing sake

Hi guys another thread for something different.. Im in process of getting 225 bumpers but for now im getting the trims painted as theyre annoying me as theyre grey whilst rest of car is black and chrome (yes i am picky) Does any one know if they pop out or are joined to the bumper as if they pop out...

Yeah thanks mate they fit perfect. Just needed some spigots for centre bore and we were happy :). Tyre wise i went from 205/55/16 to 215/50/17 just to fill in the arch a bit more barely changes speedo but when theres two people sat in the car it looks lowered. Well compared to what it was before hah...

Cheers, sure someone will be along to confirm the offset soon picking up some alloys today with offset 38 cb 72.1 so ill let everyone know if someone doesnt post first

Megane CC Wheel size/fitment

Okay stupid question i should know but what the heck is the fitment size for megane cc ph1?

At the moment my findings/guesstimation are:

35-40 Offset
60.1 centre bore
4x100 PCD

Not too sure of max width...

Any help?

Or if not whats the stats of the alloys you have on your cc?
