When left parked for a few hours, the fuel retires from the the injectors and it is possible to see a huge bubble where the fuel should be. Any time I stopped the car and bef...

Re: Megane CC problems
Eventually the problem has been sorted. Allegedly the fuel indicator wasn't very precise and I have run out of fuel without noticing. Being a diesel, it wasn't just a question of filling the tank. Apparently some additional work had to be done.. Anyway, final bill was £70.00 and the Megane CC is bac...

Re: Megane CC problems
Apparently it's the crank shaft sensor. Resetting the immobiliser was so simple that it took a couple of minute with the dedicated device. Not other faults were found but apparently the crack shaft failure doesn't show on the software. The technician said the sensor failure is a rather common proble...

Changed battery, eventually. The key is not working or, let say the immobiliser is not working anymore. Any idea what should I do?

Megane CC problems
Tried to start my Megane CC 1.9 Dynamique (diesel) this morning and the starter motor failed to start the engine. Tried 5 or 6 times without success. While I was locking the car, I realised that the card key wasn't working anymore. Tried again this afternoon, and now the card key is working but the ...

Re: setting alarm with roof down
I have the same question. I have been told that the way to activate the alarm is double-click the lock button on the key card. I have tried several times, with windows down or windows up but with no joy

Re: its 5° outside. .. But the sun is shining .....
Saturday was my first really enjoyable topless drive. M25 to Leatherhead (chock-a-block), up to Box Hill, a leisure drive through Dorking, back to Epson and driving to Kingston. Smiling all the way and had quite a tan on my face
